Ministers and Staff
Rev.
Bettie Barta is a vibrant Truth teacher who clearly and enjoyable
leads her students to the dynamic living which is divinely theirs. As
an example of her teachings, Rev. Barta is a positive, prosperous, and
gently powerful speaker frequently lecturing for Unity churches throughout
the Great Lakes and Midwest. She believes and teaches that peace of mind,
wholeness of the physical body and bountiful prosperity all begins in
the mind. Between counseling, lecturing, traveling, she finds time for
recording her daily message for Prayer-A- Day,
an inspirational message supporting many in need, and the weekly radio
program, "Unity Viewpoint."
She has served as a Conflict Management Counselor, and
on many Boards and Committees such as Association of Unity Churches, Great
Lakes Unity Regional Finance, the executive committee of the Church Federation
of Greater Indianapolis, FEMA for United Way, Civil Aviation Chaplain
Annual Conference, as well as Arts related organizations. She started Unity North Truth Center in 1998, after retiring from Unity of Indianapolis, where she worked for many years starting as a soloist at age 13, then Sunday School teacher, Center Secretary, assistant to Rev. Charles Roth, Associate Minister and teacher.
Sally

since 1990, often performing her original work based in Truth. Her first

Sally retired from teaching 7th & 8th graders
Language Arts at Forest Manor Middle School. She is an IU graduate, with
a masters from Cal State Northridge. She has two grown daughters, and
a very supportive husband, Skip Rodeman.
In 2010, Jan Culley joined the music team as our song leader. Jan is a teacher's assistant, a former Sunday School leader and Center secretary, and long time Unity student.
If you are a musician and/or vocalist, and would like share your gift with Unity North, please see Sally to arrange an audition for the music committee.
Board of Directors are a important backbone component of the success of Unity North.
We also have a supportive squad of volunteers who make our Center run, who connect us with each other and who is always open to new people; for a list of committees see the Contact page.
